The Challenge
Sun and Sand Sports is one of the Middle East's leading sports retail brands, operating a wide network of stores and a growing digital channel across the MENA region. Their existing mobile experience lacked personalization and struggled to scale with growing digital demand. The client needed a modern, high-performance app built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud that could deliver product recommendations, seamless checkout, and a unified experience across online and offline channels.
What We Did
We built native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) apps connected to a Salesforce Commerce Cloud backend, enabling real-time product catalog sync, personalized recommendations, and a streamlined mobile checkout. Integration with the client's loyalty program and in-store systems created a true omnichannel experience. JSONAPI was used for efficient data delivery, keeping the app fast and responsive even across slower mobile connections.
