The Challenge
GeoTrip was conceived to solve a real pain point for professionals who need accurate, reliable trip and mileage records — whether for business reimbursements, fleet management, or personal travel logging. The client needed a cross-platform solution that would support multiple tracking workflows, stay simple to use, and generate trustworthy mileage reports without requiring constant user input.
What We Did
We took the project from concept through to production launch across iOS and Web. Our team designed the tracking architecture supporting three distinct modes: manual trip logging (user-initiated), on-demand tracking (start and stop per trip), and fully automated background tracking. Mapbox and CoreLocation integrations power the real-time route recording. A clean, intuitive UI was built with clearly separated trip history, sharing, and reporting views — keeping the experience simple despite the technical complexity underneath.
