The Challenge
The client envisioned a dedicated digital marketplace connecting industrial chemical buyers with verified suppliers worldwide. The B2B chemical industry still relies heavily on phone calls, email chains, and trade catalogs for procurement — a slow and error-prone process. The client wanted to modernize this with a purpose-built digital platform that would make chemical procurement as seamless as consumer eCommerce.
What We Did
We architected and built a full-featured B2B marketplace with distinct portals for buyers and suppliers. Suppliers can list products with detailed specification sheets, certifications, and pricing. Buyers can search by chemical name, CAS number, grade, and specification — then request quotes, compare offers, and place orders directly on the platform. The system includes identity verification and compliance checks for both buyers and sellers to ensure regulatory adherence.
